Speaker biography: Martin Wild is a Principal Systems Consultant based at our European headquarters in the U.K. Martin is responsible for providing pre-sales technical assistance to our customers along with post-sales training and health checks. He has been with the company since 2000, working in pre-sales for the database design, development and deployment product areas along with application performance monitoring. He has run many Toad training courses for customers and user groups. Martin has a lot of experience advising database administrators and developers on how to improve their efficiency and effectiveness with regards to application and database performance and SQL tuning. Martin has worked in IT for nearly 30 years, initially in manufacturing with a large glass manufacturer, and then for a major UK retailer. He has experience with SAP Sybase ASE, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Windows, Unix, VMWare and Hyper-V.
